Protein Domain : IPR044477

Description  L-fucose dehydrogenase (FDH), also known as D-threo-aldose 1-dehydrogenase, catalyses the oxidation of L-fucose to L-fuconolactone in the presence of NADP. It is also active against L-galactose and, to a much lesser degree, D-arabinose. Uses NADP as a hydrogen acceptor much more efficiently than NAD [ ]. Name  D-threo-aldose 1-dehydrogenase-like
Short Name  FDH-like Type  Family
