Protein Domain : IPR007320

Description  PDCD2 is localized predominantly in the cytosol of cells situated at the opposite pole of the germinal centre from the centroblasts as well as in cells in the mantle zone. It has been shown to interact with BCL6, an evolutionarily conserved Kruppel-type zinc finger protein that functions as a strong transcriptional repressor and is required for germinal centre development. The rat homologue, Rp8, is associated with programmed cell death in thymocytes. Name  Programmed cell death protein 2, C-terminal
Short Name  PDCD2_C Type  Domain
