Description | Dynamic and static laser light scattering probes the size, shape, and structure of biological macromolecules or of their assemblies. A beam is focused on an optically clear cylindrical cell containing the sample. Most of the light passes directly through the sample. A small portion of the light is scattered; the scattered light intensity containing information about the scattering particle is detected at an angle (typically in the range 15-180degrees) from the direction of the incident beam. | Namespace | PSI-MI |
