Has ATP-hydrolyzing activity at a Kcat of 5.3 /min in the presence of rRNA sequence. Mutants have drastically reduced level of level of ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase. The mRNA is cell-to-cell mobile. |
