Gene : AT4G33150 A. thaliana

DB identifier  ? AT4G33150 Secondary Identifier  ? locus:2125964
Brief Description  lysine-ketoglutarate reductase/saccharopine dehydrogenase bifunctional enzyme
TAIR Computational Description  lysine-ketoglutarate reductase/saccharopine dehydrogenase bifunctional enzyme;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary  This is a splice variant of the LKR/SDH locus. It encodes a bifunctional polypeptide lysine-ketoglutarate reductase and saccharopine dehydrogenase involved in lysine degradation. There is another splice variant that encodes a mono saccharopine dehydrogenase protein. Gene expression is induced by abscisic acid, jasmonate, and under sucrose starvation.
TAIR Short Description  lysine-ketoglutarate reductase/saccharopine dehydrogenase bifunctional enzyme
TAIR Aliases  LKR, LKR/SDH, SDH
