TAIR Computational Description | reversibly glycosylated polypeptide 3;(source:Araport11) |
TAIR Curator Summary | RGP3 is a UDP-arabinose mutase that catalyzes the interconversion between the pyranose and furanose forms of UDP-L-arabinose. It is a reversibly autoglycosylated protein. Fluorescently-tagged RGP3 is found in the cytosol and associated with Golgi-like particles when expressed in tobacco leaves. An RGP3-YFP fusion protein under the control a native promoter can be found in the endosperm of Arabidopsis embryos during the linear and bent cotyledon stages of development. |
