Gene : TPK4 A. thaliana

DB identifier  ? AT1G02510 Secondary Identifier  ? locus:2196155
Brief Description  Outward rectifying potassium channel protein
TAIR Computational Description  Outward rectifying potassium channel protein;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary  Encodes AtTPK4, a member of the Arabidopsis thaliana K+ channel family of AtTPK/KCO proteins. AtTPK4 is targeted to the plasma membrane. In contrast other members of the AtTPK proteins are located in tonoplast. AtTPK4 forms a voltage-independent K+ channel that is blocked by extracellular calcium ions. May form homomeric ion channels in vivo.
TAIR Short Description  Outward rectifying potassium channel protein
TAIR Aliases  ATKCO4, ATTPK4, KCO4, TPK4
