Search our database by keyword

Examples

  • Search this entire website. Enter identifiers, names or keywords for genes, pathways, authors, ontology terms, etc. (e.g. eve, embryo, zen, allele)
  • Use OR to search for either of two terms (e.g. fly OR drosophila) or quotation marks to search for phrases (e.g. "dna binding").
  • Boolean search syntax is supported: e.g. dros* for partial matches or fly AND NOT embryo to exclude a term

Organism . Short Name: A. thaliana
TAIR Computational Description: glycosyl hydrolase 9A1;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary: Encodes a membrane-bound endo-1,4-beta-D-glucanase, involved in cellulose biosynthesis. Loss-of-function mutants have severe cellulose-deficient phenotypes. During cell elongation, KOR1 is associated with Golgi apparatus and early endosome. Inhibition of cellulose biosynthesis promoted a redistribution of KOR1 in subcellular locations. These observations suggest that deposition of cellulose involves the intracellular cycling of KOR1.
TAIR Short Description: glycosyl hydrolase 9A1
TAIR Aliases: ATGH9A1, DEC, GH9A1, IRX2, KOR, KOR1, RSW2, TSD1
