Interacts with TATA-box binding protein 2. Contains domains with strong similarity to G-patch and SWAP domains, characteristic of RNA binding and processing proteins. Colocalizes with the splicing regulator SRp34 to subnuclear particles. It is an important component of miRNA and siRNA biogenesis. Mutants display developmental defects, including reduced plant height, polycotyly, and reduced vascularization. Strong genetic interaction between TGH and AMP1. The stability of TGH transcript was maintained by ac4C modification.TGH tanscript is highly acetylated in Arabidopsis.
