Gene : DRT112 A. thaliana

DB identifier  ? AT1G20340 Secondary Identifier  ? locus:2012928
Name  ? DNA-DAMAGE-REPAIR/TOLERATION PROTEIN 112 Brief Description  Cupredoxin superfamily protein
TAIR Computational Description  Cupredoxin superfamily protein;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary  recombination and DNA-damage resistance protein (DRT112) One of two Arabidopsis plastocyanin genes. Predominant form, expressed 10x higher than PETE1. PETE2 is thought to be post-transcriptionally regulated via copper accumulation and is involved in copper homeostasis. Mutation of this gene does not have obvious effect on photosynthesis. In plsp1-1 mutant plastids, the nonmature form of the protein localizes in the membrane.
TAIR Short Description  Cupredoxin superfamily protein
TAIR Aliases  DRT112, PETE2
