Gene : RSZ22 A. thaliana

DB identifier  ? AT4G31580 Secondary Identifier  ? locus:2124799
Name  ? RS-containing zinc finger protein 22 Brief Description  serine/arginine-rich 22
TAIR Computational Description  serine/arginine-rich 22;(source:Araport11)
TAIR Curator Summary  Encodes a Serine/arginine-rich (SR) protein RSZp22. SR proteins are splicing regulators that share a modular structure consisting of one or two N-terminal RNA recognition motif domains and a C-terminal RS-rich domain. RSZp22 is located in the nucleolus. It is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein and an interacting partner to the Arabidopsis U1-70K. Barta et al (2010) have proposed a nomenclature for Serine/Arginine-Rich Protein Splicing Factors (SR proteins): Plant Cell. 2010, 22:2926.
TAIR Short Description  serine/arginine-rich 22
TAIR Aliases  At-RSZ22, AtRSZ22, RSZ22, RSZP22, SRZ-22, SRZ22
