| Description | Protein which is posttranslationally modified on a tyrosine residue to form TPQ. This modification of a strictly conserved active-site tyrosine residue proceeds via the hydroxylation of tyrosine to Topa (Trihydroxyphenylalanine) and then to TPQ (Topaquinone).
