| Description: | The aim of this experiment was to compare the systemic response of Arabidopsis thaliana accession Col-0 to Pseudomonas syringae pv maculicola (Psm) cfa6 with and without the effector avrRpt2, which elicits effector-triggered immunity, over a four-day time-course. The cfa6 mutant of Psm was chosen to remove the influence of coronatine. Systemic leaves (true leaves 6 and 7) were harvested 3, 48 and 96 hours after infiltration of true leaves 3, 4 and 5 with Psm cfa6 at an OD600 of 0.2. Expression values were calculated relative to mock-inoculated control plants, which were infiltrated with sterile 10 mM MgSO4. |
